Bunny Basket Cricut Class Project by Evelyn Larsen



Easter Basket by Evelyn Larsen 
Supplies Used:  
  • Cricut Cartridge
    • Paisley
    • Create a Critter
    • Easter Seasonal 2010
  • Core'dinations Cardstock:
    • Thimbleberry
    • In The Pink
  • American Crafts Cardstock:
    • White
    • Black
  • Colorbox Cats Eye Ink:
    • Wisteria Chalk ink pad
  • Other
    • Grommet
    • White Gel Pen
    • Black Marker
    • Tacky Tape
    • Tombow Diamond Dot Pattern Adhesive
    • Scoring Tool
    • Bone Folder
  1. Using the Easter Basket key on the Easter Seasonal 2010 cartridge, cut it at fit to page (or 10 3/4") using the Thimbleberry Cardstock.
  2. Score on all score lines
  3. Ink on all score and cut lines with the Wisteria ink.
  4. Glue with tacky tape on all tabs.
  5. Using black cardstock, cut the bunny shadow (on page 26 of the Create a Critter cartridge) out at 5" using the "Shadow" feature key.
  6. Using the White cardstock, cut the bunny foreground out at 5" using the "Layer 2" feature key.
  7. Using the In the Pink cardstock, cut the bunny middle out at 5" using the regular bunny key (no feature keys).
  8. Also using the In the Pink cardstock, cut the bunny belly out at 5" using the "Layer 3" feature key.
  9. Also using the In the Pink cardstock, cut the pink flower out using the Paisley cartridge using the "Real Dial Size" key at 1 1/4" using the bumble bee key "Button Feature Key" to get the flower (on page 25 of the Paisley cartridge).
  10. Glue the White bunny onto the pink bunny.
  11. Glue the pink bunny onto the black bunny.
  12. Glue the pink bunny belly onto the white bunny.
  13. Use the black marker to draw in the eyes of the bunny.
  14. Use the white gel pen to draw stitch lines on the bunny's belly and in the pink of the bunny's ears.
  15. Glue the bunny onto the basket.
  16. Use the white gel pen to draw stitch lines onto the outer rim of the pink flower.
  17. Use a bone folder to curve the petals of the pink flower.
  18. Use the grommet to attach the pink flower onto the center of the basket handle.
  19. Attach the basket handle to the basket.
  20. Add grass and candy to the basket.
  21. Enjoy or give away!
